Q: What do portrait sessions entail?
A: Our portrait sessions are divided into three sections.

1: The photo shoot
2: The viewing session.
3: Collection of frames and photos.

The portrait shoot, we allow 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the amount of people. In our studio we have a choice of two different backgrounds.

The viewing session is where we play a slide show of all the images we have captured, and through a process of elimination you can choose your favourites. Again this can take 45 minutes to an hour, although you may have a tough time deciding which ones you like the most.

After all the images and sizes have been chosen, the next step is to collect your photographs that we have carefully retouched and finished.

Q: What should I wear?
A: You can wear whatever you like for portraits of individuals. But for group photos we suggest that everyone wears matching colours and tones, so as not to draw attention from everyone else in the group. Strong primary colours or matching black and white clothing are appealing. You can change clothes in our studio.

Q: Can I bring pets?
A: Of course we love to photograph pets, we have pets ourselves. Make sure puppies are house trained.

Q: How long does it take to receive my images?
A: Quality takes time. We carefully retouch and colour correct each image, as well as finish our frames to the highest professional standards. The minimum is two to three weeks. For special occasions where images are required sooner, Arrangements can be made.

Q: How long do we keep images for?
A: We hold images forever. We store all images on archival disks that last 100 years. We have a photographic archive that goes back to 1975.

Q: When is the best time to photograph children.
A: Children are at there energetic best, after a nap and they are well rested.

Q: Can we have portrait session at our home?
A: Yes if you want a portrait session from the comfort of your own home, we can come to your house or garden. We also provide portraiture from any location you wish such as parks or local landmarks.

Q: How much do portraits cost.
A: Your portrait session is priced into two sections the first part is a €75 sitting fee this includes studio time for the photos to be taken, and the viewing session afterwards.
The Second part is where photos and frames are priced individually; unframed photos start from as little as €30 and framed from €70.
We always have on going special offers available at different times of the year, please ask in store for details.

Q: How many people can be in a group photo in your studio.
A: The most we have ever squeezed into a photograph in the studio is 25 people.

Q: Do we have make up artists at the studio?
A: Although we don’t have a full time make artist at our studio, we have several hair and makeup artists that we can book and hire for you. Please allow us at least a week in advance to arrange them for your session.

Q: What varieties of portraits besides families to we photograph.
