Travers Photography offers a compressive photo restoration service of all your treasured photos both old and new. We use the latest digital technology to scan and enhance old photographs, and restore them to their former glory. We don’t touch or alter your original image, what you receive is a separate restored copy. Old negatives and transparencies both 35mm and medium format film can also be scanned and digitally archived.

Q: Do we destroy or keep the original photo.
A: No we return your original photo back to you; we make a high quality digital duplicate of the master image, from which you receive the original and the restored copy.
Q: Where do I keep my restored photo?
A: Avoid storing your photo facing direct window light, and frame behind glass.
Q: Do we make copies of paintings and other printed material?
A: Yes our studio on a regular basis makes copies of paintings, canvas’s, and vintage posters, for artists and companies for fine art reproduction.
Q: How long will my restored images last.
A: We print our material on acid free paper for maximum longevity, under normal household room conditions the print will slowly begin to fade in 80 years.
Q: What effects can be added to my photo.
A: We offer a variety of services and effects for your image, from restoration of scratches and fading, to hand colouring black and white photos. We also offer a photo painting service where we take a photograph and apply a fine art effect to give the feel and look of a painting.
